"My name is Amy, Amy Shadowthourne." said Amy.

(Wait, what!? Shadowthourne?) thought Gumdrop. (Why does that sound familiar?)

"I wasn't always like this. I don't remember how old I was when I died." said Amy "I don't remember how long it's been."

Elmore in the past was probably different than today. A lot of people didn't seem to like us. Maybe it was because part of my family were demons. My brother and I were ridiculed by others but I did my best to ignore them. The only thing I remember about my brother was his stupid dream of never dieing until he found his on true love and how he wasn't there when I needed him. The girls at school were usually the ones to keep picking on me. They would destroy my belongings and nobody would stand up for me. My brother was too preoccupied with some robot he fell in love with. With all that had happened I just snapped and attacked the girls who picked on me. I didn't know what I was doing and when it was over, they were all dead. I had become a monster and now everyone wanted me dead. I hated myself for what I did, but I hated everyone else more. I just wanted to disappear so I came to this house. I just stayed here and waited to die.

"And that's all I can remember." said Amy with a sad look on her face.

"You sure you don't remember anything else?" asked Gumdrop with a neutral face. While everyone else was close to tears.

"No, I can't." replied Amy.

"Was your brother's name Jericho?" asked Gumdrop.

"Well yea but how did-"

"He's still in Elmore. Maybe you could make peace with him." said Gumdrop

"Why are you doing this?" asked Amy.

"Because you're someone who was misunderstood and you need to be put to rest." said Gumdrop. "So where is your body?"

"It's in that room." she said looking at a door.

"Would you like us to give you a proper burial?" asked Gumdrop

"Why are--" she was interrupted by Gumdrop again.

"Wouldn't you like to be happy for once in your life?" said Gumdrop. After he wrapped the body they headed for the exit. "You can let her go now Marmalade, Sindy, and Scrapper." And so they did. "C'mon, let's go. "Outside of the house they all say an old cart. "Alright, everybody get in. I'll pull."

"Gumdrop you're pushing yourself too fa--." said Marmalade before she was interrupted.

"You sure worry too much, Marms. Don't worry, I can handle this." said Gumdrop with a smile on his blood covered face.

"Not by yourself." said Marmalade

"Yeah, dude. We're all here for you." said DeeJay

"I'll help too." said Amy. And soon they all pulled the cart that contained her body.

(2 hours later)

By now they had reached the cemetery and buried Amy's body.

"Now we have to talk to Mr Bobert's father." said Gumdrop.

(Shadowthourne residence)

"Now who could that be at this hour? Probably some mortals." said Jericho.

"Hello, sir." said Gumdrop.

"Oh, Gladis! We have children at our door! And one of them looks badly injured." said Jericho.

"Um we brought someone who wants to talk to you, your sister." said Gumdrop.

"Hi... Jericho." said Amy.

"Amy...!?" said Jericho with a surprised look.

"Maybe we should explain all this inside." said Gumdrop. Inside Gladis tended to Gumdrop's wounds, while everyone else explained the situation.

"And that's what happened." said Amy.

"But Amy I didn't forget you. I was searching for you when you vanished. You mean a lot to me." said Jericho embracing her. Amy was in tears knowing that her family still cared for her.

"Ow!! That stings!!" screamed Gumdrop.

"Don't worry, child. I am almost done cleaning your wounds." said Gladis wiping his forehead.

"Thanks mam..." said Gumdrop looking down at his paws. He noticed something different something was missing. "THE SKULL NECKLACE!!! IT'S GONE!!!"

"Wait what?" asked DeeJay.

"The gift mom got him for his birthday." said Marmalade.

"Mom's gonna kill me!" said Gumdrop looking scared.

"Is this what you're talking about?" asked Amy with the skull necklace in her hand. "I found it as we were leaving."

"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!" said Gumdrop giving a tight hug.

"It's no big deal." said Amy. "I have something else for you. Close you eyes." And when he did he felt something very familiar on his lips.

"WHAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?" Everyone screamed.

"WHOA!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" screamed Gumdrop.

"Helping you unlock your ghost abilities. Don't worry they'll come in the future." said Amy.

"Oh, well thanks." said Gumdrop blushing.

"Plus I wanted to get a second kiss from you." said Amy smiling.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?!?" screamed everyone looking at Gumdrop.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! It's not like that!" said Gumdrop.

"You know what? I think I'll stay." said Amy.

"Huh? Why?" asked Gumdrop

"I have a lot of catching up to do, plus I'd get to see you everyday." Amy said patting Gumdrop's head.

"Oh, Okay. I guess we should all go home guys. See you and thanks for your time!" yelled Gumdrop, who was pushing everyone outside.

(Back at home)

"Do you have anything to explain for all this!" screamed Carrie who had just finished giving her kids a scolding.

"Actually, yeah I do." said Gumdrop "It's kinda my fault for not stopping everyone, but because of that we helped a poor soul find some form of peace. So please don't punish them."

"Son, are you saying that you're taking responsibility for this?" asked Gumball.

"Yes, sir." replied Gumdrop.

"Fine, you're only grounded for two days." said Gumball. "Now come here all of you." the whole went into a deep embrace. "Now go to sleep all of you."

(Gumdrop's room)

"Well that went down pretty smoothly." said Gumdrop, talking to himself.

"Gumdrop?" a voice called out. It was Marmalade with Sindy and Scrapper. "That was really sweet how you took the blame like that." said Marmalade.

"Aw, It was nothin'." said Gumdrop.

"You handled all of this pretty well, with no fear." said Sindy.

"Yeah Nii-San is the greatest." said Scrapper.

"Actually I thought I was gonna piss myself from all of this." said Gumdrop, laughing.

"well thanks anyway." said Marmalade. "Good night."

"Wait! Could you guys um sleep with me tonight?" said Gumdrop looking embarrassed. "I don't want to be by myself again tonight."

"Okay sure." said Sindy. As they all laid there Gumdrop still felt uneasy about the darkness.

"Now hold me and tell me everything's gonna be okay." said Gumdrop. And so they did. "How about a little kiss...?" And they kissed his cheeks. "Ah that's much better. I... love you guys."

"We love you too, Gumdrop. Good night." said his siblings.

"Night." said Gumdrop, who now could sleep peacefully after a long night.
